Obituary

William James "Bill" Feronti, 67, of 210 Mill St., Johnsonburg, died Thursday evening, Jan. 8, 2015 at his residence.

He was born Aug. 21, 1947 in Johnsonburg, son of the late Charles R. Sr. and Sylvia Baptist Feronti.
He resided in Johnsonburg all his life. He graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1965.

Mr. Feronti was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg Legion Post 501, and Central Hose Company. He was an avid music fan and was adept at playing various instruments. He was a big fan of Elvis Presley and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He will be greatly missed by all.
He was employed by Domtar-Johnsonburg Mill for 39 years retiring in 2009. He had also been employed by Stackpole Carbon Co. in St. Marys for several years.

He is survived by two daughters, Erin Feronti of Annapolis, Md., and Morgan, Mrs. Danny Peters Jr. of Brookville; three grandchildren, Trinity Feronti, Alia Mosier and Danny Paul Peters III; four sisters, Irene F., Mrs. John Smith of Ridway, Heather J., Mrs. Ed Small of Ft. Myers, Fla., Charmaline L. Garner of Harrisburg, and Deborah A. "Debbie," Mrs. Steven Patrick of Johnsonburg; two brothers, Charles R. "Chuck" Feronti Jr. and his wife Connie of Johnsonburg, and Terrance A. "Terry" Feronti Sr. of Johnsonburg. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

He was predeceased by his parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial for William J. Feronti will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Wednesday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor. Interment will be held at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.

Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
