William P. "Bill" Flora, 72, of Jefferson Manor Nursing Home, Brookville, and formerly of Wilcox, California and Johnsonburg, died Friday morning, September 9, 2022 at Jefferson Manor following a two year illness. He was born in Ridgway on April 7, 1950 a son to the late Frank and Rose Costanzo Flora. Bill spent most of his early life in Johnsonburg and was a graduate of Ridgway High School. He moved to California and lived there for 40+ years working as a custodian at a public school. He has lived back home in Elk County for the past 4 years.

Bill is survived by an Aunt; Veronica Hayley and her husband Bob of Rochester, NY and numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother Michael Flora. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

A Funeral Service for William P. Flora will be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg on Saturday September 17, 2022 at 10 AM with Fr. David Wilson, Pastor of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg as celebrant. Interment will be with his mother in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg. There will be no visitation.
