Wayne A. "Elbow" Roberts, 56, of 610 Third Ave., Johnsonburg, died Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 9, 2018) at his residence following a brief illness.

Born on Jan. 29, 1961, in Ridgway, he was a son of Clarence D. and Martha J. Stauffer Roberts.

Surviving are four sisters, Rose Marie (David) Chiesa of Johnsonburg, Carol Ann (Jeffrey) Wallis of Johnsonburg, Mary Beth (Donald) Krise of Mount Jewett, and Diane (Randy) Chicola of St. Marys; a brother, Clarence D. Roberts Jr. of St. Marys; 11 nieces and nephews; and 11 grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
