Vittoria I. Aiello, 89, 301 Fairview Ave., Johnsonburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday evening (Jan. 31, 2015) at Penn Highlands Elk in St. Marys following a lengthy illness.
She was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Motta Santa Lucia, Italy, a daughter of the late Carmello and Felicia Colacino Bevacqua. On Oct. 18, 1952, in Welland, Ontario, Canada, she married Victor C. Aiello, who died Jan. 12, 2012.

Mrs. Aiello resided in Johnsonburg since 1952. She graduated high school in Italy.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg.
Mrs. Aiello was a loving wife and dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, survived by three sons, Genaro (Cyndi) Aiello, Victor (Barbara) Aiello Jr. and Edward (Tina) Aiello, all of Ridgway; four daughters, Frances (Daniel) DiIulio of Ridgway, Lucy (Michael) Gelsick of Johnsonburg, Maria (Peter) Savino of Ridge, N.Y., and Judy (Joseph) DePrator of St. Marys; 16 grandchildren, Erin (David) Cicione, Kathryn (Kevin) Hershock, Adam (Cathy) DiIulio, Matthew (Laura) DiIulio, Michael (Jennifer) Gelsick, Alex Gelsick, Victor and Emily Aiello, Jennifer, Andrea and Krista Savino, Anthony, Felicia and Benjamin DePrator and Francesca and Giovanni Aiello; six great-grandchildren, Italia, Isabel and Rocco Cicione, Norah and Oskar DiIulio and Gracie Gelsick; three brothers, Pietro (Luisa) Bevacqua of Warren, Eligio (Donata) Bevacqua of Motta Santa Lucia, Italy, and Mario (Maria Grazia) Bevacqua of Motta Santa Lucia.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Giulio Bevacqua; and a sister, Caterina in infancy.

There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, and the Rev. Brian Vossler, pastor of St. Leo Magnus Church, Ridgway, co-officiating. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.

Funeral arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
