Vada Mann Kolinoski, 100, of Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys, formerly of Johnsonburg, died Friday afternoon, Jan. 29, 2016 at Pinecrest Manor, St. Marys, following a brief illness.
She was born June 4, 1915 in Medix Run, daughter of the late Lewis and Mary G. Krise.
She married Francis M. Mann in 1935, he preceded her in death July 9, 1971. She then married Joseph Kolinoski on April 12, 1985, he preceded her in death Nov. 9, 2002.
She resided in Johnsonburg most of her life and was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School. Vada was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Rosary Altar Society, and the Johnsonburg Senior Center. She had worked at Stackpole Carbon Co. for several years and at Constable's Stores for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Susan Kelly of San Jose, Calif., Marlene Lowdermilk of Ridgway and Barbara Dauber of Johnsonburg; one stepdaughter, Joyce Steudler of Johnsonburg; two stepchildren, Lynn Kolinoski of Luina, N.M. and Joseph Kolinoski of Prattville, Ala.; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Francis Mann; her second husband, Joseph Kolinoski; a son, Roger Mann; a grandson, Jeffrey Mann; brothers Cletus, Richard, Edward and Peter Krise; and sisters Genevieve Law, Lorraine Arvickson and Connie Megat.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Vada Mann Kolinoski will be conducted Friday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg. Officiating will be Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Thursday evening, Feb. 4 from 6-8 p.m.
