Obituary

Theresa K. Costanzo, 97, of Pinecrest Manor of St. Marys, formerly of 501 Fourth Ave., Johnsonburg, died the afternoon of Saturday, July 4, 2015 following an brief illness.

She was born on Oct. 30, 1917 in Dayton, daughter of Angelo and Carmella Rocco Gigliotti. She married Michael J. "Scup" Costanzo on Nov. 24, 1945 in Yatesboro. He died Dec. 28, 2008. She resided in Johnsonburg since her marriage.

Mrs. Costanzo graduated from Dayton Normal High School in 1936. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Rosary Altar Society and the Johnsonburg Senior Center. She loved to pray the rosary, play cards, go bowling, play bingo, do yardwork and sewing.

She had been employed as a nurse's aide at Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital for 17 years, retiring in 1975. She had also worked at Sylvania in Emporium for 10 years.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Michael J. Costanzo and his wife Jennifer of Cambridge Springs, Jeffrey "Jeff" Costanzo and his wife Jenny of Johnsonburg, and Donna, Mrs. Francis "Foxy" Dunworth of Johnsonburg; two grandchildren, Brent A. Dunworth and his wife Kelly of Pittsburgh and Ian M. Costanzo and his partner Carrie of Monroeville; four great-grandchildren, Colin, Nathan and Caden Dunworth and Austin Costanzo.
She is also survived by one sister, Margaret Altman, of Victor, N.Y.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers Frank and Louis Gigliotti, and sisters Mary Costanzo, Lucy Walsh and Rose Vallone.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa K. Costanzo will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 10 a.m. with Rev. David J. Wilson, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will take place at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, Pa. on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. -
