Scott E. Williamson, 58, of 419 Elk Avenue, Johnsonburg, died early Tuesday morning, October 19, 2021 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born on May 9, 1963 in St. Marys a son to Raymond and Beverly Herbstritt Williamson. On August 3, 1985 in Holy Rosary Church he married Deborah M. Muroski and she survives. He was a lifelong resident of Johnsonburg and was a 1982 graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School.

Scott was a member of Holy Rosary Church and the Johnsonburg Elks, where he was very active as a board member. He was also a member of Central Hose. He had coached 7 ^th and 8 ^th grade basketball for the Johnsonburg High School for many years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and golfing. He also loved going the casino, scratching lottery tickets and bowling.

Scott had worked the last 37 years at the Domtar, Johnsonburg Mill and it's predecessors.

In addition to his wife Deborah at home, he is survived by brothers Danny Williamson of Benezette, Dane Williamson and his wife Becky of Johnsonburg and Allen Williamson of St. Marys and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

Scott is predeceased by his parents and a sister Mary Kay Garner

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Scott Williamson to be conducted at Holy Rosary Church on Friday October 22, 2021 at 10:30 AM with Fr. David Wilson, Pastor as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg. Visitation will be private.
