Sandee Joelle Rhodes, 48, of 424 Second Ave., Johnsonburg, died Thursday afternoon, Oct. 15, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born Oct. 8, 1967 in Ridgway, daughter of Joel Rhodes and Sandra Myers Rhodes.

She resided in Johnsonburg most of her life, and she had lived in Wilcox. She graduated from Johnsonburg Area High School in 1985.
Joelle lived her life with the biggest heart in the world and adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She was employed at Penn Highlands Elk in St. Marys for the past four years. She had worked as a private in-home care provider for four years and had worked at Elk Haven Nursing Home for 13 years.

She is survived by her father, Joel Rhodes and his wife Diane of Wilcox; her mother, Sandra Rhodes of Johnsonburg; two daughters, Ashley, Mrs. Ed Weyant of Ridgway and Veronica Holjencin of St. Marys; three grandchildren, Gavin and Levi Weyant and Charlotte Vaughan; by her very special friend, Paula Croyle of Johnsonburg; two brothers, Kevin Rhodes of Durham, N.C. and Bryan Rhodes and his wife Laura of Kane; stepsisters Kristin Swanson of James City and Wendy, Mrs. Kevin Colson of Ridgway; three nieces, and many aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents; her uncles, Bruce Rhodes and Bill "Birdseed" Myers; and an aunt, Sally Myers.

A Funeral Service for Sandee Joelle Rhodes will be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg on Friday, Oct. 23 at 10 a.m.

Officiating will be Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg. Interment will be private. There will be no visitation.

Arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home.
