Robert J. "Bob" McKenna, 70, of 218 Cushing Avenue, Johnsonburg, died early Monday afternoon, January 24, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Kane, PA a son to the late Edward and Rachel Raymondo McKenna. On September 17, 1977 in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg he married Mary E. Lupino and she survives.
Bob grew up in Kane and was a 1969 graduate of Kane High School. He has lived in Johnsonburg since his marriage. Bob was a member of Holy Rosary Church, the Piedmont Club and American Legion Post 501, all in Johnsonburg. Bob loved his family and especially loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid fan of his grandson Kenny's sporting events, often being the loudest fan in attendance on either side. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and vegetable gardening and had a weight room in his garage that was always open and available to anyone in the neighborhood who wanted to use it.
He had retired in 2010 after many years of service as a construction worker with Cianbro Construction.
In addition to his wife Mary at home, Bob is survived by his daughters; Erin, Mrs. Dave Bundy of Johnsonburg and Erika McKenna and her longtime companion Shin Lee of Orlando, FL, and his grandchildren; Kenny McKenna, Meadow Bundy and McKenna Lee. He is also survived by a sister Carla, Mrs. Clyde Asel of Kane.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Robert J. "Bob" McKenna will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg on Saturday January 29, 2022 at 10:30 AM with Fr. David Wilson, Pastor as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel, 401 Chestnut Street Johnsonburg, PA on Saturday morning from 9:15 to 10:15 AM.
