Phyllis A. Gray, 86, of 505 S. St. Marys Street, St. Marys and formerly of Wilcox, died Tuesday morning, May 11, 2021 at Penn Highlands-Elk, St. Marys, PA. She was born on May 4, 1935 in Johnsonburg a daughter of Raymond and Irene Amacher Ford. She has lived in St. Marys for the past 50 years and had lived in Wilcox.

Phyllis was a 1953 Graduate of Johnsonburg High School. She was a member of St. Agnes-Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She was proud to be a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed nothing more than to spend time with her family.
She had retired from the Elk County Assessment office in 2000 after over 20 years of service.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter Barbara Johnson of St. Marys, 2 granddaughters; Amber Silk of St. Marys and Jessica R., Mrs. Jacob Siple of DuBois and 2 great-grandchildren; Jacob Siple, Jr. and Josephine Siple.

She is pre-deceased by her parents, a son Paul Silk, Jr. and a sister Irene Haynes.

A private funeral service for Phyllis A. Gray will be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel on Tuesday May 18, 2021 with Pastor Bruce Burkness of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church as celebrant. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Johnsonburg. There will be no public visitation.
