Patricia A. Grumley Frantz, 75, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys died early morning on Friday, June 29, 2018 at Penn Highlands-Elk, St. Marys, following a brief illness.
Patricia was born on July 18, 1942 in Johnsonburg, daughter of John and Elizabeth Rusalem Grumley. She married John Frantz and he survives.
She had resided in St. Marys since 1989 and formerly was a resident of Johnsonburg.
She graduated Johnsonburg School Class of 1960.
She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Johnsonburg Senior Center and TOPS. She had been employed by the Elk County Housing Authority at the Duffy Apartments in Johnsonburg for several years and had worked at the Johnsonburg Public Library for many years.
In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by her children: Lisa A., Mrs. Dan Thompson of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; Johnna, Mrs. Michael Scobey of Warrensburg, Missouri; and John Williams, Jr. and his fiancé Dianna of KoKoMo, Indiana; by her seven grandchildren: Megan, Mrs. Kenny Fort; Kari Scobey; Allison Thompson; Danielle, Mrs. Tim Miles; Eric Scobey; Kenneth Thompson; and Wade Ryan; and by one aunt, Ruth Grumley. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service for Patricia A. Frantz to be conducted at the Anthony Ferragine Funeral Home, Johnsonburg on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Fair of St. John Lutheran Church, Johnsonburg, officiating.
Interment will be held at the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johhnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St. Johnsonburg, Thursday morning from 10 a.m. to service time at 11 a.m.
