Pamela J. Mejia, 68, of Ridgway, and formerly of St. Marys and Weedville, passed away early Monday morning, May 11, 2026, at Penn Highlands-DuBois, following a lengthy illness. She was born October 14, 1957, in Encino, CA, a daughter to the late Norman McPherson and Pat Overstreet McPherson Brady.
A resident of the area since 2002, Pam had just moved to Ridgway and had lived the past 6 years in St. Marys and lived in Weedville for many years.
Pam graduated High School in California and attended trade school before moving east. She was very loving with her children and grandchildren and was an avid baker. Her goal in life seemed to be to make everyone smile.
Pam had worked at the DuBois Giant Eagle bakery for over 10 years.
Pam is survived by her daughters, Kathlean Prindle (Brandon) of Nampa, ID, Carrie Johnson (Steven) of Meridian, ID and Samantha Hall of St. Marys. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and 2 brothers, Alan McPherson of Lake Havasu, AZ and Todd McPherson of Los Angelas, CA.
In addition to her parents, Pam is predeceased by two sons, Anthony and Matthew Mejia.
Funeral services and interment for Pamela Mejia will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg, PA.
