Nancy L. Farr, 74, died Wednesday (July 18, 2012) at The Lutheran Home in Kane, following a prolonged illness.

Born March 14, 1938, in Ludlow, she was the daughter of Anthony "Tony" and Fannie Visco Raymondo. On March 2, 1956, Nancy married George J. Farr, who survives.
She graduated from Kane High School in 1956.
Nancy belonged to Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, and loved homemaking and family life.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, George L. (Mandey) Farr Jr. of Beloit, Wisc.; one daughter, Cheryl Ann (Dan) Shambido of Olean, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Rachel, Georgia and Reed Farr, and Sarah and Nicholas (Nick) Shambido; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by both her parents; one sister at birth; and one brother, Paul Raymondo.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, with the Rev. David Wilson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.
