Mary M. Clelland, 65, of 330 Shawmut Ave., Johnsonburg, died early Thursday morning, April 12, 2018 at her residence following an illness of the past three years.
She was born Jan. 15, 1953 in St. Marys, daughter of Elmer and Renalda Lupole Ferragine.
She married Scott Clelland on Nov. 1, 1974 in Grace Episcopal Church, Ridgway and he survives.
She resided in Johnsonburg most of her life and was a 1971 graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School. She then graduated from Bryant and Stratton College in Buffalo, New York in 1973.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Church where she had been on the Holy Rosary Festival Committee for many years. She was a past neighborhood chairman for the Girl Scouts of America.
She had worked at Andrew Kaul Memorial Hospital for several years. She had also worked at CVS and Uni-Mart, both in Johnsonburg.
She is survived by her husband at home, Scott Clelland; her parents, Elmer and Renalda Ferragine of Johnsonburg; two daughters, Jody Shultz of Mt. Holly, New Jersey and Meghan, Mrs. Troy Asti of Johnsonburg; four grandchildren, Rylee Dippold, Mark and Emily Shultz and Cole Asti; one brother, Thomas E. Ferragine and his wife Alice of Bradford; and one sister, Julie, Mrs. Larry Holjencin of Canyon City, Colorado.
A private Mass of Christian Burial for Mary M. Clelland will be conducted Wednesday, April 18 at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg. Officiating will be Rev. David J. Wilson. Interment will be private. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
