Mark A. Jundzilo, 35, of 224 Maplewood Lane, Johnsonburg, died Wednesday afternoon, March 10, 2021. He was born in St. Marys on November 2, 1985 a son to Gary and Diane Northrop Jundzilo. He was a lifelong resident of Johnsonburg and was a 2004 graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Church. Mark loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. He was especially proud to take care of his rabbits.
Mark was an US Army Vet serving in Iraq as an SPC with the US Central Command where he received the Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon and the Armed Forces Reserves Medal with M Device.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Diane Jundzilo of Johnsonburg, a brother Paul Jundzilo of St. Marys , a sister Joanne Jundzilo of Slippery Rock, a nephew Walker Jundzilo and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is predeceased by a brother Michael P. Jundzilo who died in 2013, his maternal grandparents Eugene and Patricia Northrop and his paternal grandparents William and Elizabeth Jundzilo.
A private family funeral service for Mark A. Jundzilo will be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. chapel on Saturday March 20, 2021 with Fr. David Wilson, Pastor of Holy Rosary Church as celebrant. There will be no visitation. Interment will be private.
Arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg, PA
Military Honors will be accorded by the Johnsonburg-Ridgway Servicemen's Detail. Detail members are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:45 a.m.
