Heather E. Cathers, 31, of 53 Reservoir Rd., Ridgway, died Sunday morning, Jan. 22, 2017 at Penn Highlands Elk in St. Marys.

She was born Dec. 5, 1985, daughter of Robert W. Cathers III and the late Dawn Elmquist Cathers.
She resided in Ridgway all her life and was a 2004 graduate of Ridgway Area High School.

Heather is survived by her father at home; her paternal grandmother, Imogene Cathers of Apollo; a brother, Robert W. Cathers IV and his wife Tara of Bradford; a half-sister, Brandie Elmquist of St. Marys; and her nieces and nephews, Robert W. Cathers V and Ethan Cathers, Jayden, Jaxen, Jamryn and Jurnee Elmquist.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert W. Cathers II; and her maternal grandparents, Robert and Marion Elmquist.

Funeral services and interment for Heather E. Cathers will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
