Franklin W. "Frank" Steudler, 75, of 221 Glen Mayo Rd., Johnsonburg, died early Tuesday morning, December 29, 2020 at Penn Highlands-Elk, St. Marys following a brief illness. He was born in Ridgway on June 9, 1945 a son of the late Bernard and Florence Santo Steudler. On April 4, 1970 in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, he married Constance "Connie" Pavlock and she survives. He has lived in Johnsonburg since his marriage in 1970. He is formerly of Wilcox. He attended Johnsonburg Area High School.
Frank was a member of Holy Rosary Church and was a longtime member of the parish festival committee, he was a member of Central Hose, the Wilcox Sportsmen's Club, Wilcox American Legion and the Piedmont Club in Johnsonburg. Frank loved to spend time with his family, he loved spoiling his pet chickens, riding his 4-wheeler and taking his evening rides around the area with Connie. And he loved to go to the casino.
He was a Vietnam Era Army Vet serving overseas as an SP4 with the HQ Det. 7 th Med Gp. 7 th US Army SUPCOM. He had retired in 2010 from MPP, Washington Road Plant, St. Marys, PA after 43 years of service.
Frank is survived by his wife at home, 2 daughters; Debbie Dauber and her fiancé Brian Kudrik of Johnsonburg and Kim Steudler of Ridgway, 3 grandsons; Gregg Dauber and his wife Beth, and Brady and Brenden Dauber and one great-grandson Jordan Dauber.
He was predeceased by his parents and 2 brothers and 2 sisters; Mabel Engman, Daniel Steudler, Susan Bullers and Donald "Duck" Steudler.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank W. Steudler will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg at a future time and date and will be announced. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
If desired, memorial contributions should be made to the charity of one's choice.
