Obituary

Elizabeth L. "Betty" Reinsburrow, 93, of 302 Willow St., Johnsonburg, died early Monday morning, June 15, 2015 at her residence following an illness of the past year.

She was born Nov. 20, 1921 in Marion Center, daughter of the late Walter and Martha Neal Black.

On May 19, 1944 in Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, she married Earl Reinsburrow. He died in 1971.

She resided in Johnsonburg since 1942 and was a 1938 graduate of Marion Center High School and a 1940 graduate of DuBois Business College.

She was a member of the Johnsonburg United Methodist Church and Choir, and the United Methodist Women. She had been employed by Diamond Castings of Johnsonburg for several years, and by Bliskey's Vending in Johnsonburg and Johnsonburg Public Library for many years.

She is survived by five sons and six daughters-in-law, Neal Reinsburrow and wife Diane of Franklin, John Reinsburrow and wife Frances of South Port, N.C., Jim Reinsburrow and wife Laura of Johnsonburg, Paul Reinsburrow and wife Cheryl of Palm Beach, Fla., Richard Reinsburrow and wife Wanda of Mechanicsburg, and daughter-in-law Shelly Reinsburrow of Towanda; 14 grandchildren, April, Jason, Amy, Joe, Brian, Joseph, Joshua, James, Alex, Mary, Rebecca, Amanda, Ellen, Kyle; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and by extra special friends Dr. and Mrs. Michael and Marsha Hoh and Bob and Karen Luderer.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Alex Reinsburrow in 1988; brothers Richard and John Black; and sisters Jean Mitchell and Ruth Bailey.

A Memorial Service for Elizabeth L. "Betty" Reinsburrow will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Wardvale Methodist Cemetery, Johnsonburg. There will be no visitation.

If desired, memorials should be made to the Johnsonburg United Methodist Church, Johnsonburg Public Library or the Community Nurses, Inc. - Hospice Services of St. Marys.
