Diane L. Huber, 64, of 305 George St., St. Marys, formerly of Johnsonburg, died Friday morning, May 29, 2015 at Penn Highlands Elk in St. Marys following a brief illness.

She was born Dec. 2, 1950 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Harry V. and Agnes Pistner Mowrey.

She resided in St. Marys for the past six years and had lived most of her life in Johnsonburg. She graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1968. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ridgway. She had been employed by Stackpole Carbon Co. of Johnsonburg and Walmart of St. Marys.

She is survived by a daughter, Marie E. Snyder of St. Marys; three grandchildren, Brei N. Huber, Brayden and Jade M. Snyder; one great-grandchild, Bryson R. Luchs; her stepmother, Rosella Mowrey of Ridgway; two brothers, Mark V. Mowrey of Johnsonburg and Paul M. Mowrey and his wife Midge of Johnsonburg; four stepbrothers, Mark and Larry Simon, both of Ridgway, Randy Simon of Buffalo, N.Y. and Rusty Simon of Salt Lake City, Utah; and a stepsister, Tanya Hilman of Clarence, N.Y.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard A. Huber.

A Funeral Service for Diane L. Huber will be conducted Friday, June 5 at 11 a.m. at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg. Officiating will be Branch President Philip Walton of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ridgway. Interment will be in Wardvale Methodist Cemetery, Johnsonburg.Friends will be received at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. before service time Friday morning.
