David L. Wolff, 58, of 639 S. Michael St., St. Marys, and formerly of Johnsonburg, passed away Thursday afternoon, October 9, 2025, at his residence following a brief illness. He was born September 12, 1967, in St. Marys, a son to the late Elmer Wolff and the late Nancy Grunthaner Wolff Cherry.

David was raised in St. Marys, was baptized in St. Marys Catholic Church and attended St. Marys Area High School. He has lived in Johnsonburg for 30 years and had been living again in St. Marys for the past 4 years.

David had worked for Kellington Protection Services as a night watchman for the past year, had previously worked for Buehler Lumber for several years and had worked for DiNardo Paving for over 30 years.

David is survived by his siblings Kathy Hefright (John), Joe Wolff and Robin Wolff all of Johnsonburg and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is also survived by his stepchildren Darryl Oknefski and Tara Lindemuth.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Lori J. Smith.

Funeral services for David L. Wolff will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will also be private in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
