Darlene G. Clark, 66, of 527 Second Ave., Johnsonburg, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 20, 2018 at Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys following a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 4, 1951 in Ridgway, daughter of the late Antonio "Tony" and Lena Patrilli Galati. She married Robert A. Clark Jr. on June 23, 1972. He died June 30, 2004.
She resided in Johnsonburg all her life and was a 1959 graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and the Johnsonburg Senior Center. She was a loving caregiver who also loved family dinners, playing cards, ceramics and crocheting.
She was employed by St. Marys Carbon for 40 years before retiring in 2011.
She is survived by one daughter, Amy Lynn, Mrs. Ian Benson of Johnsonburg; her fiance, James Tokarcek at home; two grandchildren, Ian Benson Jr. and Collin Benson; two sisters, Gloria A. Baughman of St. Marys and Marie, Mrs. George Smalley of Corsica; and one brother, Gary Galati of Winchester, Virginia.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tony Galati Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Darlene G. Clark will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 24 at noon at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg. Officiating will be Rev. Ross Miceli, pastor of St. Boniface Church, Kersey. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Ridgway.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Friday evening, Feb. 23 from 6-8 p.m.
