Obituary

Cora Olewinski, 66, of 482 Kane St., Wilcox, died Tuesday morning, April 26, 2016 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 19, 1949 in Kane, daughter of the late Clarence "Bud" and Frances Zimmerman Fiscus, who survives, of Wilcox.
She married Charles "Chuck" Olewinski Jr. on April 29, 1967 in St. Anne's Church, Wilcox and he survives.

Cora resided in Wilcox all her life and was a 1967 graduate of Johnsonburg High School. She was a member of St. Anne's Church and was employed at CVS Pharmacy in Johnsonburg for eight years, Penntech Papers in Johnsonburg for 12 years, Powdered Metals in St. Marys for five years and she had also worked at Lindberg Furniture.

In addition to her husband at home, she is survived by her mother, Frances Fiscus of Wilcox; her son, Douglas "Doug" Olewinski of Wilcox; her daughter, Kimberly "Kim" Croyle of Wilcox; three grandchildren, Andy Eck and Justin and Hayden Haupright; and one great-granddaughter, Lexi Eck.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence "Jerry" Fiscus.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Cora Olewinski to be conducted Thursday, April 28 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, Wilcox. Officiating will be Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Rasselas. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
