Brenda J. Gerg, 56, of 420 Washington St., St. Marys, died Monday morning, April 23, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a lengthy illness.

She was born Aug. 28, 1961 in St. Marys, daughter of the late William F. and Virginia Wenner Myers, who survives.
She married C. Steven Gerg on Sept. 28, 2000 in Benezette and he survives.

She had previously been married to Gary Parks of Johnsonburg.

She resided in St. Marys since 1995 and was a 1979 graduate of Johnsonburg Area High School. She had been an EMT with St. Marys Ambulance for many years.

She is survived by her husband at home; her mother, Virginia Myers of Johnsonburg; her children, Stacy Parks of St. Marys, Candy Parks of Wilcox and Gary "KO" Parks of Wilcox; one brother, Mark W. Myers and his wife Melissa of Johnsonburg; one sister, Linda Lindgren of Johnsonburg; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service for Brenda J. Gerg to be conducted at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Monday evening, April 30 at 6 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor of Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg. Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday, April 30 from 5-6 p.m.
