Billie N. Patrick, 86, of the Lutheran Home at Kane, Kane, PA and formerly of Marvin Street, Wilcox, died Thursday afternoon, January 7, 2022 at the Lutheran Home following a lengthy illness. She was born on August 13, 1935 in Johnsonburg a daughter to the late Clifford and Ethel Ward Willow. On July 3, 1954 in Kane, PA she married John Patrick. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2018.
Billie had lived in Kane since her husbands passing in 2018 and had lived in Wilcox from 1954 to 2018. Raised in Johnsonburg she attended Johnsonburg schools and graduated from Johnsonburg High School. She was a member of the Wilcox Presbyterian Church where she was very active in church activities. She had been a church Elder and was on the funeral dinner committee for many years. Billie loved to spend time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and loved to take long drives with her husband John to see the elk and deer and other wildlife in the woods.
Billie had retired from the Johnsonburg Paper Mill where she was a fork-lift operator. She had also worked at the Lutheran Home at Kane and at Elk Haven Nursing Home as an Aide and she had worked at Thorco Bottling in Wilcox and as a lunch lady at the Johnsonburg Elementary School.
Mrs. Patrick is survived by her three children; John "Cliff" Patrick and his wife Michelle of Johnsonburg, Steve Patrick and his wife Debbie of Johnsonburg and Kellie Patrick Gates and her husband Gary of Ithaca, NY. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Renee, Mrs. Phil Matunga, Danielle, Mrs. Noah Wikander, Aaron Patrick and his wife Carlea, Sara, Mrs. Corey McCabe and Matthew Patrick, 10 great-grandchildren; Hunter, Caleb, Aiden and Kylie Wikander; Tessa, Kyla and Bria McCabe and Maria, Gabriel Matunga and Nellie Patrick and 2 sisters; Mary Anna Peterson and Darlene Koch both of Kane.
In addition to her parents and husband, Billie is predeceased by her brother Keith "Skeeter" Willow and a brother Joe in infancy and her sister Wanda Hedlund on 12/26/21 and a sister in infancy.
Friends and family are invited to attend a funeral service for Billie N. Patrick to be conducted at the Wilcox Presbyterian Church on Friday January 14, 2022 at 11 AM with Robert Johnson, Lay Pastor as celebrant. Interment will be private. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services 401 Chestnut Street Johnsonburg, PA.
