Bennett "Ben" Peterson, 72, of 222 Evergreen Road, Wilcox, passed away Friday night (March 20, 2015) at his residence following a lengthy illness.

On May 21, 1976, he married Linda M.Moneta, who survives.
He is also survived by four children, Steven (Donna) Peterson of Lake Charles, La., Jeffrey (Terry) Peterson of Johnsonburg, Paul Mann of Bolivar, N.Y., and Kimberly (Rick) Paul of Wilcox; eight grandchildren, Ciera Peterson, Seth, Cole and Cade Peterson, Kristen Boyer, Morgan and Kody and Benjamin Paul; and siblings, Don (Marge) Peterson of Warren, George "Carl" (Barb) Peterson of Platteville, Wis., John (Leah) Peterson of Georgetown, Maine, Leila (George) Kronenwetter of Johnsonburg, Nancy Hodgdon of Wilcox, Lenore Peterson of Ringgold, Va., and Becky Peterson of Ridgway.

There will be no visitation. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial for Ben Peterson at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Church with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg.

Funeral arrangements are under direction of the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401Chestnut St., Johnsonburg.
