Ann Cherry, 70, of Fifth Avenue, Johnsonburg, passed away late Monday night, April 13, 2026, at Mountain Laurel Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Clearfield, following a lengthy illness. She was born May 31, 1955, in Ridgway, a daughter to the late Louis and Regina Zameroski Imbrogno.

A lifelong resident of Johnsonburg, Ann was a 1973 graduate of Elk County Christian High School and was a member of Holy Rosary Church. Ann loved spending time with her family, cooking and baking and feeding any and everyone. She also enjoyed going to play bingo and other games of chance.

Ann had worked at GTE Sylvania in St. Marys for 29 years, retiring in 2018 and had also worked at the Family Food and Deli for several years.

Ann is survived by her sons Dan Cherry (Julie) of Johnsonburg and Dickey Cherry (Jenna) of Johnsonburg and 6 grandchildren, Haylee Cherry, Gracie Cherry, Aubrey Cherry, Christian Cherry (Julia), Marlee Cherry and Aria Cherry and 2 great grandchildren Miles and Sophia Cherry. She is also survived by her siblings, Mary T. Bauer (Thomas) of Katy, TX, Loretta Feronti (Leo Simpson), Robert "Twitch" Imbrogno, John Imbrogno (Kellie), Jeannine Leader (Dave), Louie Imbrogno, Kathy DePanfilis (JR), Anita Imbrogno and Tom Imbrogno (Nikki) all of Johnsonburg and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is predeceased by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ann Cherry will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg, on Friday April 17, 2026, at 11 AM with Fr. David Wilson, Pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be private.

Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel, 401 Chestnut Street, Johnsonburg on Friday morning from 9 to 10:30 AM.
