Obituary

Albin E. Clopp, 64, of 404 Brechtel Rd., Rasselas, died Sunday morning, Oct. 18, 2015 at Penn Highlands Elk in St. Marys following a brief illness.

He was born Sept. 18, 1951 in Ridgway, son of the late John F. and Antoinette Strauss Clopp.
On Nov. 30, 1979 in St. Marys, he married Suzanne Smail and she survives.

He resided in Rasselas all his life and was a 1969 graduate of the Johnsonburg High School. He was a member of the Holy Cross-St. Anne Church, Wilcox, and the Wilcox Sportsmen's Club. He had been employed by E Carbon of America of St. Marys for 30 years.

In addition to his wife at home, he is survived by one son, John Clopp and his wife Kayla of Wilcox; four daughters, Jessica, Mrs. Darren Lindsay of Tarentum, Jennifer, Mrs. Robert Proper of Venango, and Janet Clopp of Edinboro and Jaclyn Clopp of Wilcox; three grandchildren, Colt and Hanna Proper and Landon Clopp; one brother, Michael Clopp of Wilcox; and four sisters, Rita Wiegand of Shelocta, June Conaway of Allentown, Joan Mayer of Clementon, N.J. and Janet McIlhenny of Ocean City, N.J.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Joann Clopp.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Albin E. Clopp will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne Church, Wilcox with Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Rasselas.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., Johnsonburg, on Tuesday evening, Oct. 20 from 6-8 p.m.
